What the owner of a line gets and what they answer for
In effect since August 20, 2026
By opening a line in FAN CALL you agree to this. It reads in two minutes, but this is exactly where all of your responsibility sits.
What you get
- Your own address of the form domain/your-handle and a call screen at it.
- Every voice message left on your line, with a transcript and topic labels.
- The day's track — a stitch of voices assembled by selection, and the ability to download it as a file.
- The ability to reply by voice to one person or to a whole topic.
You may listen to everything. You may not publish everything
In your cabinet you hear every recording — otherwise the service would not work. But you may publish only the ones whose owners gave permission for a release.
The downloadable stitch is assembled ONLY from permitted voices, and next to it we say honestly how many recordings did not make it in. This protects you first of all: what you downloaded is safe to publish.
A recording you listened to in the cabinet but which is not in the stitch may not be published. Not as a fragment, not as "inaudible", not as a retelling in that person's voice.
What is never allowed
- Publishing the voice of a person who did not give permission for a release.
- Using someone else's voice in advertising as the voice of a specific person.
- Identifying people by voice, comparing timbres, keeping a list of "regulars by how they sound".
- Training voice models on other people's voices and synthesizing another person's speech.
- Disclosing a fan's information that you learned from a recording — name, city, circumstances.
- Demanding money for getting into a release.
You answer for what you release
You make the material, and claims about it come to you. We give the tool and the permission labels; the decision about what goes into the video is yours.
Complaints
Complaints from fans about your replies come to us, not to you: a report about a person must not land with that same person. You can report harsh recordings on your line with the "Tell us" button.
We can close a line
For publishing a voice without permission, for using voice to identify people and for a gross breach of the law, the line gets closed. For a serious violation — immediately, without warning.
Money
Today fans pay for their own limits, not creators for a line. When payments to creators appear, the terms will be a separate document, and it will not take effect retroactively.
Closing a line
Write to support@fancall.link. Fans' recordings are deleted at that point, and the videos you released stay with you: we cannot take the voices out of them.
